Born in Thüringen, German mezzo-soprano Christina Bock studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig and the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. Since her professional debut at the age of 20, she has been a member of both the International Opernstudio and Ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, and from 2014–2020 was a member of the Ensemble of the Semperoper Dresden.

Christina joined the ensemble of the Wiener Staatsoper in the 2021/22 season, appearing as Ottavia in L'incoronazione di Poppea and Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus. She is a regular guest at the Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Opéra National de Paris and the Salzburg Festival.

Recent highlights include Grimgerde in Die Walküre with the Dresden Philharmonie, War and Peace at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Mahler's Symphony No. 8 under Ingo Metzmacher, a concert performance of Tristan und Isolde as Brangäne with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, and a new production of Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège.

In the 2026/27 season, she appears as Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier at the Bayerische Staatsoper, performs Mahler's Symphony No. 2 with the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España in Madrid, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis with the Orchestre National de France, Danish National Symphony Orchestra and at Berwaldhallen, and Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire at the Bregenz Festival. Her debut solo recording will be released by Lexicon Classics in 2026.
